Buying a property in Portugal was a big decision for us. We knew that there would be many aspects that differed greatly from buying a property in Canada. We needed help, so we looked into getting a buyers’ agent and chose Brint. From our first virtual meeting we were put at ease. They presented us with all the aspects that they cover and answered all of our questions.
We went to Portugal to physically view the properties. We had a fantastic agent take us to all of them, she was super helpful and made us comfortable. Once we made our decision; the bargaining process, contract signing etc. was handled with the utmost professionalism and they did an amazing job. They negotiated a great price on the property saving us approximately $50,000 Canadian.
There were certain aspects of the buying process that made us uncomfortable, or that we found difficult to understand and these were all readily explained. They helped us with opening a NIF, Bank Account, home inspection, inventory of the contents we were purchasing and ownership transfer.
